Refund Policy

30 days, one email, and no attempt to talk you out of it. This page sets out how a refund works and the few cases that work differently.

Last updated October 24, 2026

Article 1

30 days to change your mind

Write to us any time in the 30 days after your class’s first live session and we refund the full fee. You don’t need to give a reason, and there’s no call designed to talk you out of it.

One email is enough. We would rather return your money than keep it after a course that didn’t work for you.

Article 2

Before the first session

If you change your mind after paying but before your class’s first live session, email us and we refund the full fee. The 30-day window above still starts with that first session if you decide to stay.

Article 3

What happens when you email us

Send your request to [email protected] from the address on your enrollment. Name the course, and add a line about what fell short if you like — we read those notes, and they shape the next class.

  • We acknowledge your email within one business day.
  • Within three business days we approve the refund and instruct our payment provider.
  • The money goes back to your original payment method. Banks usually take a further five to ten business days to show it.

Article 4

After the window closes

Once the 30-day window has passed, refunds are no longer automatic: by then the class is well underway and the tutor’s time has been spent.

Still, write to us if something serious has happened — an illness, a family emergency, or a course that plainly didn’t match its description. We usually settle it with a credit toward a later class, and we have never used this clause to avoid doing the fair thing.

Article 5

If we postpone or cancel a class

  • If we cancel a class, you get a full refund, however long ago you paid.
  • If we postpone a class, you can move to the new dates, switch to another course at the same price, or take a full refund.
  • If we cancel a single session, we reschedule it. That on its own isn’t grounds for a refund.

Article 6

The fine print

  • Refunds are paid in US dollars to your original payment method. We can’t control currency conversion or fees your bank charges.
  • If your employer paid, the refund goes back to your employer, not to you.
  • Once a refund is issued, access to recordings, materials and the class channel ends.
  • Each person can have one refunded enrollment per course. You’re welcome to enroll again later, but the window doesn’t restart.
